For Mark and Arlene

Dear Mark and Arlene,

We met at my first ever British Origami Society convention, the 50th, last year in Stratford. Arlene was the first person to welcome me to the convention. I sat at Marks folding table in the exhibition room many times and he showed me the models in the picture. I particularly like the simple flapping bird. He is a great guy, a wonderful teacher and, as I remember, has a fabulous hat. I hope that the operation goes well.
