Kathy Singer-dollar book and convention books

Hi Mark,

I began to come to Allentown to fold right after the first conference I attended, Origami USA 2015 (the mountainous conference at Manhattan College!).  At the conference I had learned how to fold a dollar into a tiny book, but could not remember the steps and had no directions.  You found a number of great book diagrams that eventually helped me to reconstruct it.  (Photo number 1). I was also so inspired by the WEALTH of origami books and figures that you and Arlene have all over your house.  I spent many happy hours looking through books I had never seen before and trying to fold some of the figures.  As you can see from picture number 2, your collection has inspired me to purchase old Convention books whenever I can find them. 

In addition, the love and joy that you and Arlene share by opening up your home to folders is fabulous and life affirming.  Thanks for helping me to become a better and more joyous folder, connected to the worldwide family of folders.
