Mark was my very first instructor...

...at my very first class at an OrigamiUSA convention, way back when it was held at the middle school near the Museum!

Mark's unfailing enthusiasm and humor have always been hallmarks of any convention or gathering he attends, and his generosity,  energy and spirit of volunteerism inspiring.

It’s very sad to hear of Mark’s passing. I was fortunate in my younger years to be able to travel to the US from London, for 1 or 2 conventions including OUSA and PCOC, and I was blessed to meet him there.   He immediately demonstrated his kind loving nature and his character of sharing. Hi Mark

Hi Mark I started bringing my nieces to the convention when they were about 8 years old. (They are 22 now)  It became a tradition to buy a pin or two from you at each convention.  When they were young, they would ask to go see the "Pin Man".   This is a photo of Kristen and Courtney at the last convention they attended at Manhattan College.
