Today Show Days Pre Convention Fridays

Just found this picture from when Mark would get to the NYC convention on a Thursday and get up really early to go outside the Today Show with groups of origami people and his posters.

    First time I've seen this photo from the late 1990's w/ Steve Buck, Robin Macey, Mari Kanegae, & perhaps Susana d'Arashiro behind the camera.

It’s very sad to hear of Mark’s passing. I was fortunate in my younger years to be able to travel to the US from London, for 1 or 2 conventions including OUSA and PCOC, and I was blessed to meet him there.   He immediately demonstrated his kind loving nature and his character of sharing.
